

Type chrome://settingsin the address bar, scroll to the bottom of the Settings page, and click Show advanced settings.Just like you, your computer starts getting a little weird if it works for a long time without a break.

Try them in order, proceeding to the next step only if you're still getting the error. If you're trying to install AdBlock (or any extension) in Chrome and you see a message like this one: An error has occurred: Download interrupted, it's an issue with Chrome, not the extension. Be sure to check Also delete your browsing data. Before you proceed, be sure to turn on Google Chrome sync and synchronize everything through your Google account. Warning: This step will completely erase your bookmarks, saved passwords, extensions, and Chrome settings on your computer. Try this if the first suggestion didn't help: Reinstall Chrome Save the file and close the editing window.
